Cycling through nature and culture in the southern Biella region
This slow holiday is designed for those who want to take a relaxing break in contact with nature and get to know the small producers and beautiful realities that preserve the beauty of the Dora Valley landscape with their work.
Three itineraries to be covered by ebike, thanks to which you will cross nature reserves with unique landscapes, such as the Bessa park, where the ancient Romans built gold mines, transforming the landscape, of which the gigantic piles of stones remain, giving the park an almost ‘lunar’ atmosphere. Skirting the shores of Lake Viverone, you will arrive at Masino Castle, a majestic FAI property where you can learn about the history of the area. Finally, you will discover farms and wine cellars that work with passion to preserve ancient methods of cultivation.
